Hey there Lego fans!

Summer of 2025 has been a pretty big release season. In June we saw 55 sets release, July had 7 sets, and now August we’ll see 103 new sets. That’s over 160 new sets, some in brand new themes to Lego, that cover every Lego fan out there. Let’s take a quick look at the new August wave! You can visit the Lego.com to check these out too.

I’m bummed they didn’t design the Hibiscus set in a similar size to the Chrysanthemum or Plum Blossom. For me, a $30 price point for the Hibiscus is a no brainer. As for the Mini Bonsai Trees, I only want these because I recently binged the Cobra Kai series and like the show.

We love it when new Lego themes are introduced and we are excited to see One Piece finally join the fold. I don’t have a lot of knowledge about One Piece, but Brickheadz are one of my favorite themes and Luffy and Buggy look great. Of course, I can’t not highlight The Going Merry Pirate Ship because it’s a beautiful pirate ship and pirates have always been a staple of Lego history.
