Everyone’s Favorite Beagle Flies into Lego

Hey there Lego fans! It seems to get better and better when it comes to Lego bringing IP’s we love to the brand. I just wrote about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Pokemon being brick built sets releasing later this year. Now, let’s welcome man’s best friend, the flying ace, and everyone’s favorite beagle - Snoopy to Lego - and we can’t forget Woodstock!

First, let’s recognize the Lego Ideas Fan Designer Robert Becker, aka bossofdos64. His initial Ideas submission is the reason we’re getting the Lego set Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse. He built his version for himself, but was encouraged by family to submit the project to Ideas. I’m thankful for his build because now we as fans get this fun set!

Set Details

One thing you’ll notice is that his original submission didn’t include the red doghouse, but the Lego team decided to include it because it’s so iconic to Snoopy. Even though the doghouse is all red, it is well detailed and looks great. The doghouse can be lifted to reveal the starry night scene where Snoopy and Woodstock can be seated to roast marshmallows over a campfire (which is based on Robert’s original design).

There are pieces for you to change Snoopy into a standing, sitting or laying down pose. The box art shows Snoopy and Woodstock on top of the doghouse typing on a typewriter. But, I really like the pose of Snoopy laying on top of the doghouse, with Woodstock sitting on Snoopy’s belly. Whichever scene you choose this will make a perfect addition to your Lego collection.

Comic icons.

Interestingly, if you caught it, Target was offering this set at $79.99 as a pre-order - or $10 cheaper than S@H’s pre-order price. That makes me think (along with how I like to shop these days) that this set will get a discount at some point during its shelf life. So, let’s all practice patience Lego friends. Remember what Corey said, “FOMO is the enemy of your budget.

All of these Lego releases are so exciting and I’m adding so many of them to my wish list. But, I’m also staying strong with my Brick Broke challenge of no Lego buys in 2026. My wallet is thanking me, but I’m beating myself up seeing sets like Pokemon releasing later this month and this Snoopy set later this year. Anyway, hope you’re all excited for all the cool Lego sets coming our way. Thanks for reading!
