Christmas Week Is Here

Hello Lego friends

Christmas week is upon us and if you're like me, you have a hundred million things to do, people to see, and probably still have to be at work for part of the week.

I'll keep this week’s post short, but I really want to say that I appreciate all of you that read the blog on Brick Dynasty each week.  It's a bit therapeutic for me to write about Lego and I hope that you enjoy some of my random takes.

I also wanted to share a little story.

Christmas and Lego are forever intertwined for me as I was given my first Lego set as a gift when I was 5 years old. That set was Lego 6382 Fire Station.  6382 was a little beyond my years, so I needed help building it. My mom and I built it together one afternoon and I was instantly hooked.  Lego has been a consistent part of my Christmases, in one way or another, for most of my life.  Either as gifts for myself, my son, other relatives, and friends.

This old school Lego set was part of the extinct TOWN theme.

Do you have a favorite Lego Christmas set or story?  If so, please comment below.  I'm curious how many of you were introduced to Lego at Christmas like I was.

On behalf of Brick Dynasty, I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season that is filled with family, friends, memories, and of course….LEGO.

Until next time AFOL’s….
