Lego Shop at Home Today (7.2.26)
Hi Lego fans. Today, I’m taking a look at what’s going on at the Lego Shop at Home website including new sets, Pokemon, Olivia Rodrigo, and Insider Rewards.
Featured: Pokemon
First up, when I head over to the website the top menu includes Lego Pokemon which means they’re still promoting that and it’s likely the main draw for many fans right now. It makes sense with the Pokemon theme releasing earlier this year in 2026.
It makes sense with the Pokemon theme being brand new and just recently releasing in early 2026.
The 3 sets that rolled out in the first wave are all available to add to bag today. The newest 12 sets are all available for pre-order, and all of these are Smart Play sets.
I recently picked up a pre-owned Star Wars Smart Play Darth Vader TIE Fighter at a local swap meet. I played around with the Smart Brick with the Darth Vader minifigure and it only gave me the iconic breathing sound effect, while the other 2 sound effects were droid sounds. The Smart Brick inside of the TIE Fighter was pretty cool, although it’s just repeating sounds and flashing lights that are sort of annoying in my opinion. Which brings me to think, how will the Pokemon sets work out with the Smart Play features? So far, I’m thinking it will be disappointing. I won’t pick up any of the Pokemon Smart Play sets at retail price, but if I find any at a discount I’ll let you all know.
That being said, Jolteon v Charizard and Mewtwo are some of my favorite Pokemon of all time and it’s nice to see them in Lego form.
What’s New, GWP, and Olivia
Switching up speeds, let’s take a look at the what’s in the New section of the website. If you haven’t already, check out my blog post about the July 1 releases here. If you’re into the Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Megacar don’t forget it comes with a fun GWP in the Steering Wheel. I like the Disney Main Street set, but $400 is too steep for my blood. That set is also currently on backorder, available to ship in 60 days. So, Disney fans must really want to add that to their collection. Another Disney favorite, especially right now with the latest movie in theaters, is the Disney Brickheadz Toy Story characters that includes Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and 2 aliens.
The sets that are on the New page that are interesting to me are the latest Olivia Rodrigo sets in the Editions theme. There are 5 sets releasing August 1, 2026. 5 sets is a lot, but it makes sense since Olivia Rodrigo is a huge artist right now. I think this is the most Lego sets for any artist/music group since the Beatles sets “The Beatles Yellow Submarine (21306)” and “The Beatles (31198)”, but correct me if I’m wrong. Also, this probably means my Lego Ideas project Olivia Rodrigo Drivers License, a Speed Champions themed set inspired by her music video, is unlikely to become a reality. Looking at the actual sets coming soon, I like the Olivia Rodrigo Flower Bouquet, which is both a Botanicals and Editions themed set, and has hidden guitars!
Insider Rewards
Now, head on over to your Insider Rewards under your account and you’ll see a newer Art Print: Space Arcade Poster. This poster would go perfectly on the wall above above the new Lego set Arcade Pinball Machine. I think it would look great in a game room or Lego room on it’s own as well, which is something I might consider because I’m not all that interested in the pinball set.
Fresh of the Brick World convention, Brick Slopes is right around the corner taking place from August 27 - 30. As a Lego Insider, you get a reward for 30% off general admission tickets to Brick Slopes in Utah. It costs just 20 Lego insider points. Check it out.
There are a total of 131 rewards and I feel like they add more on a regular basis, so it’s always a great idea to spend some time over there when on the website.
That will do it for an overview of what’s happening on the Lego website (as of today 7/2/26). Like we see in our everyday lives - things change. So, keep an eye on Lego shop at home because you never know what rewards are there. For new releases, we’ve got you covered here on our blog.
