Lego announces a surprise 2x insiders point event starting today

Starting today through April 4th you will receive 2x insiders points on your qualifying purchases from Lego.com or at the Lego store. Double points do not apply to every purchase however, Lego has a list of specific sets that qualify for the promotion, you can check that out here.

While the promotion is limited to a few themes, the selection of sets is a good one in my opinion. Themes included in the promotion are City, Creator 3 in 1, Friends, Dreamzzz, Lego Icons, and Ninjago.

Double points equates to about 10% cash value if you were to redeem your points for cash discounts.

If you include the GWP Easter Bunny Surprise with a spend of $75, which lego has established a cash value of $19.99, this makes it an even better deal. Also, don’t forget that you can also exchange your previous Insider points for vouchers on the Micro Command Centre or any other sets that are in the rewards center.
