7 Retiring Sets on My Wish List for 2025

With Summer break ending and my kids back in school, the rest of the year is going to zoom by. Sure, we still have about 4.5 months left in the year, but just like it always does, time will go by so quickly and before we know it 2025 will come to an end. As Lego fans, we know that means on December 31st, 2025 some of our favorite sets are going to retire.

I probably bought more Lego sets than I should have this year, but some are for good reason. Some of those sets are retiring at the end of the year so I wouldn’t have a chance to get them after 2025.

For me, as long as I can get them at a good discount I’m happy to pick them up. On the other hand, I haven’t always caught a good deal online or their spot on the shelves in store is empty when I have a chance to shop in person.

Here are 7 sets retiring this year that I have on my wish list.

Coruscant Guard Gunship

Star Wars | Set 75354 | 1,083 pieces | RRP $139.99

My youngest son wants the Coruscant Guard Gunship primarily because of the Commander Fox minifigure. I want this set because I think the gunship is awesome. I have seen this set go on sale on Amazon for a while and watched others pickup this set on clearance in store. I was hesitant with the online sale and have not had luck with finding the set in store, not yet! I’m holding hope.

Baby Pig’s Birthday Celebration

Minecraft | Set 21281 | 351 pieces | RRP $19.99

This is a smaller set that I keep forgetting about. But, I’m not sure why because it’s great! The animal mobs are fun and movable, the Creeper has TNT inside of it, and it’s a literally a celebration scene. I’ll definitely add this to my cart before the end of the year.

Cole’s Titan Dragon Mech

Ninjago | Set 71821 | 1,055 pieces | RRP $99.99

I’m a big fan of mechs, despite not having built one of the bigger ones. Cole’s Titan Dragon Mech reminds me of Gundam, which I’m a huge fan of. It looks incredibly cool, especially with the gold accents and sword. That’s why I’m closely monitoring this set for a discount before the end of the year.

Mateo and Z-Blob the Knight Battle Mech

Dreamzzz | Set 71485 | 1,333 pieces | RRP $129.99

Another mech on my list is Mateo and Z-Blob the Knight Battle Mech. Again, an awesome looking giant robot that can kick butt. With this set, Dreamzzz brings creativity to another level and brings a unique touch to the mech that I love. I also like that you have multiple options when building this mech, similar to a favorite Lego theme Creator 3-in-1. For builders like me, that’s a great creative experience to choose how you want to build a mech and it’ll look great regardless.

Jazz Club

Icons | Set 10312 | 2,899 pieces | RRP $229.99

The Jazz Club is an Icons set for a reason. It is pretty iconic and like the Lego website landing page reads “the perfect jam session.” This modular building fits every Lego fan’s Lego city, or it can be a great launching set to build your city around. The club has almost 3,000 pieces, 8 minifigures, and just looks like a fun set to build and play with.

The Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron

Marvel | Set 76291 | 613 pieces | RRP $99.99

This may not be on everyone’s wish list, but as a Marvel fan I love that they brough this scene to life in Lego form. The original Avenger team from Age of Ultron would make a fantastic display piece in my house. I’m super jealous that I’ve seen others find this in-store on clearance, but I think I’ll catch a discount soon.

BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars

Speed Champions | Set 76922 | 676 pieces | RRP $44.99

The Speed Champions theme is one of my favorite Lego themes. These BMW cars are really beautifully designed, especially how the colors pop. A must have for me to build on my Speed Champ collection.

I am crossing my fingers that I can find at least one of these sets on my wish list at a discount before the end of the year. Of course, there are ways to buy these sets post-retirement. Either way, the best way is not paying full RRP, whether that is in person or online. Wish me luck!

If you like any of these sets or find them on sale let us know! Comment below, find me on X, and join us on YouTube on Wednesdays when Brick Dynasty goes live.

I appreciate you reading. Thanks Lego fans!
