A New Icon Appears

Hi Lego fans! Buckle up because Lego recently announced a brand new set coming to the Icons theme. Lego is releasing the Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D later this month on Friday, November 28. That means your first chance to buy the new Star Trek set is Black Friday, so you can at least enjoy a nice Thanksgiving dinner before building this beast of a set.

In a special announcement, Lego shared with fans they’ll have the opportunity to build the iconic spaceship and add it to their space collection.

Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D

Set #: 10356

Theme: Icons

Pieces: 3,600

Ages: 18+

Minifigures: 9

RRP: $399.99 (USD)

GWP: Star Trek: Type-15 Shuttlepod

As you can see from the set details you’re putting together 3,600 pieces that include 9 minifigures. The iconic minifigure character lineup includes Jean-Luc Picard, William Riker, Worf, Data, Beverly Crusher, Geordi La Forge, Deanna Troi, Guinan and Wesley Crusher minifigures. The flagship comes with a detachable command saucer, secondary hull, 2 mini shuttlepods, and an angled display. There’s also a neat schematic and ship statistics to display with the ship and minifigures.

If you purchase the set on release day November 28 through December 1, you can also get the Star Trek: Type-15 Shuttlepod (40768) as a GWP, while supplies last. This shuttlepod features the Onizuka and includes a Ensign Ro Laren minifigure. Personally, I would love to purchase this set on it’s own without buying the flagship set.

These Star Trek sets are releasing on Black Friday and we’ll likely see additional sales (not including Star Trek) on the Lego website. First, practice patience because we all know how the shop-at-home website can be on big sale days. Second, keep an eye on deals Lego offers and promotions (where there are currently sets already on sale and a GWP available) including other sets on sale, insider rewards, and potentially other GWPs. Of course, Brick Dynasty will share those deals with you all so be sure to stay tuned.

Thanks for reading. Who shares in our excitement of building the Star Trek Enterprise and Shuttlepod?!
